SECURE is anchored in the research environment at the Department of Social Sciences and Business (ISE) and works closely with the department's research groups, especially within the Section for Politics and Administration. Existing research environments at ISE are strongly positioned internationally and nationally in areas such as civil society and social cohesion, cross-sectoral cooperation, security policy, public procurement, and especially crisis governance and robust public institutions.
SECURE is therefore ensured strong academic embeddedness and a number of relevant expertise will be available at the institute. ISE is already part of strong collaborations with e.g. Resilience Centre Denmark and the National Defence Technology Centre. The centre is open to contributions from researchers across 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University's departments and collaborates with related research centres in areas such as climate, environment and pollution, migration, crisis communication, pandemics and digitalisation, combining research at the highest level with practical and transferable knowledge.
SECURE also leads and participates in Danish, Nordic and international research networks and consortia.
