Tuition fees bachelor: Terms of payment

Payment of tuition fees

Tuition fees must be paid for a semester at a time and corresponds to the full semester fee. Please note that tuition fees cannot be paid in instalments.
Newly accepted students must pay tuition fees for the first semester by the due date stated in the offer of admission. If the tuition fee is not paid by that deadline, the admission will be annulled.
兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 who are already enrolled at 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University will receive an invoice in due time before the start of each semester, which must be paid within 14 days. If 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University has not received the payment of the tuition fee before semester start, i.e. September 1 for the autumn semester and February 1 for the spring semester, the student will be dis-enrolled from the University.
The tuition fee is paid in EUR unless paid from a Danish bank account. If it is paid in DKK, please use the current exchange rate.
The payment needs to be marked with the invoice number and your complete name, otherwise we cannot identify the payment.
The tuition fee rate is subject to adjustments which will come into immediate effect.

The payment for each semester is a condition of the student��s enrolment at 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University. If the student fails to pay the tuition fee on time, he/she will be dis-enrolled from the University.
In case a student is dis-enrolled, 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University is obliged to inform the Danish Agency of International Recruitment and Integration, and the student will risk losing his/her residence permit.

If the programme is not completed within the prescribed period of study, the student is required to pay the full tuition fee for the subsequent semester(s) of enrolment. This includes students who are writing their master��s thesis, if the submission deadline exceeds the prescribed period of study.
If a student submits a satisfactory attempt of his/her master��s thesis within the prescribed period of study, but receives a failing grade, he/she will not be required to pay tuition fees for the following semester(s) of enrolment.

If you are granted leave from the start of a semester, you are not required to pay tuition fees during the semester(s) you are granted leave. The payment of tuition fees is resumed the first semester following the end of the period of leave.

兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 who obtain a type of residence permits to Denmark that exempts them from paying tuition fees during a semester will not receive of a refund of the tuition fees paid that semester. However, the student will be exempt from paying tuition fees the following semesters.
If a student is exempt from paying tuition fee based on their residence permit to Denmark, but loses it during a semester, he/she must pay tuition fees from the following semester.

The tuition fee is refunded, if the student does not begin his/her studies at 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University and requests a refund before the beginning of the semester (1 September and 1 February)
The tuition fee will not be refunded after the beginning of the semester (1 September and 1 February). However, a number of exemptions apply to this rule. Tuition fees can be refunded after the beginning of the semester in exceptional cases that prevent the student from commencing the study programme. Written documentation must be submitted before a refund can take place. A refund may be given based on:
- Lack of a residence permit
- Serious illness
- National service
- Pregnancy

All EU/EEA-citizens are exempt from paying tuition fees at Danish universities.

Non-EU/EEA students are exempt from paying tuition fees, if they hold one of the following types of residence permit to Denmark:

A permanent residence permit in Denmark ('Permanent opholdstilladelse')
A temporary residence permit with the possibility of a permanent residence in Denmark ('Opholdstilladelse med mulighed for varigt ophold'). Your residence card must state: 'mhp. varigt ophold' or 'mmf varigt ophold'.
A residence permit in Denmark according to the EU/EEA regulations (Opholdstilladelse jf. EF/E?S bekendtg?relsen)
Children of workers from non-EU/EEA countries having been granted a residence permit pursuant to Section 9M (previously 9C) of the Danish Aliens Act and whose parents have been granted residence permits pursuant to Section 9A of the Danish Aliens Act.
Temporary residence permit pursuant to section 7(1) and section 8(1) (convention refugees) or section 7(2) and section 8(2) (foreigners with protection status) of the Danish Aliens Act
Temporary residence permit pursuant to section 9(1) or 9c (1) of the Danish Aliens Act based on a familial relationship to a foreigner with a residence permit pursuant to section 7(1) or (2) or section 8(1) or (2) of the Danish Aliens Act
As of 1 July 2020, temporary residence permit as refugees based on ��7, (3) of the Danish Aliens Act or temporary residence permit based on a familial relationship to a foreigner with a residence permit pursuant to section 7(3) of the Danish Aliens Act
