Admission for exchange

In order to be considered as an exchange student, your home university must have an exchange agreement with 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University.

An exchange agreement means that the two universities exchange students without any tuition fees. If your home university has no exchange agreement with 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University, you can still take one semester at 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University as a guest student – please find more information about tuition fees and admission requirements here.

Note that specific rules apply to exchange within the framework of student mobility programmes. Such as ERASMUS+, NORDPLUS/NORDLYS, bilateral exchange etc.

English Skills

All students applying for exchange admission must document English skills (except English mother tongue).

Documentation accepted:

  • 100 % English taught programme at your current studies. If your programme is 100 % taught in English we just need a signed document from your home university stating that your current studies is 100 % English taught

OR

  • English test results with minimum scores required:
    • IELTS: minimum score: 6.5 or
       
    • TOEFL cBT (computer-based): minimum score: 225 * or
    • TOEFL iBT (internet-based): minimum score: 80 * or
       
    • Cambridge C2 Proficiency, formerly known as Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE): minimum score: passed or
    • Cambridge C1 Advanced, formerly known as Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): minimum score: 160 or
       
    • TOEIC Listening and Reading: minimum score of 785 pts or
    • TOEIC Speaking and Writing: minimum score of: 160 pts for Speaking and 150 pts for Writing

*) 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University does not accept a mix of results of different TOEFL tests, also known as ‘MyBest Scores’. Due to the current public health concerns in connection with coronavirus, 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University accepts the Special Home Edition of the internet-based TOEFL test for the current application round

兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 do accept some national tests from the following countries:
Germany: an English language certificate from DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) German Academic Exchange Service
France: an English language certificate from CLES. 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 accept only CLES 2 and CLES 3

兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 do also accept some English tests from Language Centers from home universities however, we need to see the test to evaluate it. Please note that we do not accept self-evaluation documents or signed assessments/confirmations of English proficiency from academic staff or other individuals

Due to equal national admission requirements for universities in countries as in Denmark:

  • Finland
  • Netherlands
  • Norway
  • Sweden

Due to currently studying in a native English speaking country:

  • Australia
  • Great Britain
  • Ireland
  • New Zealand
  • USA

Application requirements

In order to consider your application we require:

  • A certified transcript of all your study activities completed at your home university
  • A certificate of an accepted English test (can be forwarded after application deadline) – see specifications under the section ‘English Skills’ at this page
  • A completed Learning Agreement of 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University. The Learning Agreement has to be approved and signed by you and your home university.

Note that we expect our exchange students to be full time students. Full time studies equal 30 ECTS per semester.

Applying for a Residence Permit

兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 who need a residence permit must read the following information carefully:

Once you fulfil the requirements for being an exchange student, you will receive the application for residence permit (ST1 form) from 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University.

You will find a step-by-step guide for submitting an application to the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration here.

The processing time of your application for a residence permit may take up to 2 months from the date that the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration receives a fully completed application from you. This means that you must begin the application process as soon as you receive the application from 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University.

Please note that 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University has no influence on the process. If you have any questions regarding your submitted application, please contact the Danish Agency.
