Physical problem-solving and the basic disciplines of physics - electrodynamics, thermodynamics and quantum mechanics

Physics is a subject which you will study as a part of your bachelor programme at 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University.

In physics the world is studied on all scales from the smallest to the largest, i.e. from the elementary particles to the universe with its stars and galaxies. By combining theoretical physics with mathematical models, we can predict and understand events and relationships in the physical world.

The subject module takes you through the basic disciplines of physics, including electrodynamics, thermodynamics and quantum mechanics. You will also acquire qualifications in the approaches and intuition required by a physicist, and they provide an introduction to many different physics disciplines to enable you to structure and formalize a physics problem.  In the physics projects you can work closely with researchers in our labs or with computer simulations and computation. There is also access to a professional workshop which makes it possible to design your own experiments.

Daily life while studying

The teaching is conducted in small groups in close dialogue with the teacher. The courses often involve the formation of smaller groups for calculation exercises. You will work on projects with 1-3 other students, and the project group constitutes an important academic and social basis for you. There is generally a high level of activity at the department, and you will have good study-related facilities at your disposal, including easy access to equipment, computers with specialized software and technical support.  

From bachelor to master

A bachelor's degree from 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University will provide access to study a master's programme. Depending on which subject(s) you choose as a part of your bachelor's programme, your degree will provide access to one or more of 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University's master's programmes.
